Roxseal Flameblock
In the event of a fire in an enclosed room, fire will spread through holes in electrical sockets, ceiling rose
light fittings, pipes, roofs, walls and floors. Roxseal Flameblock pads when placed in position next to any
aperture or hole will, when in contact with fire, automatically expand by 50 times its volume creating a
meringue type substance filling the hole preventing the spread of fire.
Flameblock Gaskets
The Roxseal Flameblock gasket fits into all BESA electrical socket boxes, universal conduit boxes, sockets
and switch boxes. Designed to comply to British Standards and IEE 16th edition regulations which demands the
fitting of Roxseal flameblock in all electrical boxes in partitions and walls.
Flameblock Lighting Covers
The Roxseal Flameblock covers must be fitted to all ceiling downlighters and roses to ensure the fire integrity
of the plasterboard allowing approx 4 mins rating. Easily fitted in 5 mins from above or below with cable
entries on top allowing heat ventilation.
Flameblock Intumescent Grille Units
An intumescent grille unit available in two types, wall or glass mounted. The Roxseal Flameblock fan cover
can be installed over vents, ventaxia, xpelair or other make of wall or window fans, giving fire and smoke
protection to escape corridors and staircase fire escapes.
Flameblock Ventilated Tent
A very lightweight self supporting and completely ventilated tent (FT)
designed to avoid over-heating of the recessed fluorescent fitting, cable entries are fitted at the top of the
tent and is easily installed by one electrician. (no extra supports, simple clip fixing.)
