The Ronfell Group has 3 Divisions – Lighting – Rubber and Electronics Products.
The lighting division specialize in designing, prototyping and manufacturing of all types of energy efficient lamps, shatterproof lamps, decorative festoon strings, explosionproof lighting and airfield & airport solar powered lighting.
The rubber division designs, prototypes and manufacturers high specification rubber and plastic products using the latest injection moulding systems and extrusion facilities, from flame retardant polymer materials to 290°C to special seals for the recovery of low emission radiation materials in the nuclear industry and high specification silicone window seals.
The electronics division sells a range of special cases for precision instruments and electronic equipment together with NVG equipment, personal electronic heated clothing and electronic air cooling systems in clothing for high and hot climates.
Foundation
John Ronfell founded Ronfell Consulting Engineers in 1974, based in Chorley, Lancashire, before eventually expanding to become Ronfell Group in 2003. John in his capacity as C.E.O took the company to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Denmark working as consultants/project managers for the Saudi Electricity Corporation (SCECO) Saudi Oil Corporation and Aramco, Zuluf Oil Platforms before returning to Europe to work on the Danish Danbor Project and Morecambe Bay Gas Field and finally being based in Preston and Wigan.
John has also gained considerable experience in the lighting and rubber industries, creating the coloured Colourcover condom for gls lamps concept and selling the company to Meggitt Plc before being asked to represent Meggitt/Silicone Engineering on a visit to Moscow’s state universities and Russian Industries.
John has qualifications in Electronic/Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering and has over the years built the business with his staff who have expertise in sales administration and production engineering, lighting sales, rubber & plastics sales, electronic products sales, web design and IT support together with graphic design for PR andmarketing.

Ronfell’s clients are mixed and varied, ranging from the worlds Ministries of Defence and associated blue chip companies. Marks & Spencer, Tesco, the BBC and British Aerospace to the Electrical Distributors and Wholesalers in the UK and European Countries.
