The Safe-T-Coat provides a bonded protective layer to the fluorescent tube for safety in
food production, office, warehouse, greenhouses, kitchens and many other areas where
Safe-T-Coat lamps would be desirable.We offer the following lamps and color rendering:- Col: 29,33,35,38, 385,54,55,827,530,835,840,860,AD,BLB. Sizes:- T2=6mm, T5=16mm, T8=26mm, T12=38mm Lengths:- From 6 inches to 8 feet. MATERIAL A thin walled ultra violet stabilised thermo-plastic sleeving designed for fluorescent tubes to contain broken glass and toxic substances in the event of tube breakage or implosion. PROPERTIES Operating temperature - 40C to +125C. Very resistant to Ultra-Violet. Excellent tranparency to light loss less that 6%. Non-halogenic. HEALTH & SAFETY Meets and exceeds all the requirements of the European Council Directive on the hygiene of foodstuffs contained in the official journal of the European Communities NoL175/7 dated 14 June 1993 and the UK Food & Safety Act 1995. PROTECTION Protects products and operatives from glass and toxic substances in the event of breakage during use, transportation, lamp replacement or operational implosion. STANDARDS Meets the requirements of BS 6062, Din 52290 Part4 and IK7 THY EEC. LIFE & AGEING The Safe-T-Coat lamp life is totally dependant on the lamps use and environment. APPLICATIONS Fits into all known electrical lighting equipment in retail displays, refrigeration cabinets, sports halls, food displays, prisons, hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and other applications where there is a risk of ingress into food by glass and toxic substances. The Shattershield provides a slip on protective layer to the fluorescenttube for safety in food production where maximum protection is not required. Used in offices, warehouses, greenhouses, kitchens and many other areas where Shattershield would be desirable. The "Safe-T-Filter" Gold, Yellow and Red lamps provides suitable illumination in Electronic, Semiconductor and Photographic production factories where light-sensitive materials are safeguarded against frequencies of 500 and 610 nanometres. We offer the following sizes:-T2=6mm, T5=16mm, T8=26mm. Lengths:- From 6 inches to 6 feet. Colour:-Gold, Amber, Yellow and Photographic Red. MATERIAL The lamps are fitted with special ultra violet stabilised thermo-plastic sleeving designed to stop light at perticular frequencies. PROPERTIES Operating temperature - 40C to +125C. Very resistant to Ultra Violet. Excellent tranparency to fluorescent light input. Non-halogenic. The "Safe-T-Clear" lamp provides a special neutral density external UV filter which maintains the excellent colour rendering of cool white lamps without the Ultra Violet radiation which destroys paintings and textiles.
