Lampguard Floodlight Lenses
We offer a high temperature Teflon Coating called Lampguard, which is bounded to the
outer or inner surface of the glass and conforms to the Food Regulations impact test
IK7. An operating outer galss surface temperature of 360 Deg Centigrade with minimal
light loss and in the event of breakage glass is contained behind the membrane avoiding
glass in food contamination.
Lampguard Thickness Data
We can supply a coating thickness of 100 microns to 400 microns
to achieve the protection class IK7 and above.
We define class IK7 protection as "No leakage of glass after breakage"
to meet EU Standards.
All glass panels must have bevelled edges.
