Description
Lighting fixtures EXEL are intended for hazardous areas of industrial plants, especially chemical and petrochemical areas with potentially explosive atmosphere zone 1 (an area in which a mixture of explosive gas may be present during the normal operation of the plant) and zone 2 (an area in which the mixture of explosive gas is not normally present, but is only present for brief periods of time) in accordance with CSN EN 50281-1-2.

EXEL is produced in two different lengths for use with 18W and 36W fluorescent tube lamps. The body of the luminaire is made of a special antistatic glass, reinforced with polyester resin providing a very high mechanical strength and a very high resistance against UV ray effects. The transparent diffuser is made of UV ray resistant polycarbonate. The inner frame installed with electrical equipment, is made of extruded aluminium profile, ensuring a strong mechanic of the lamp, as well as a perfect waterproof holding. Internal reflector in PVC coated aluminium.

The fixture has two M 25 cable entries on one side and one M 25 cable entry on the opposite side. The basic version is supplied with two cable glands and two polyamide plugs. Double chanel (circuit) electronic ballast and safety switch EEx-d.
