Roads and Park Luminaires - Model IVA-ZP
Description
New European standard EN 13201 is relevant for lighting at pedestrian crossings throughout Europe. The light beams
onto white and black road blocks with differeing contrasts.
The light is more intense on the white horizontal centre line and has lower light levels on the black part of the crossing.
However, the luminaire includes lighting to where the pedestrians are waiting on the side of the road.
Supplementary lighting is reccomended for places where pedestrians
are at risk while crossing roads with heavy traffic.
This luminaire was launched especially for lighting pedestrian crossings. Using a metalhalide lamp 150 or 250W with different
chromatic temperatures, ensures adequate highlighting. Optimal height for the luminaire is six metres.
