EEx d EN 50018 Weatherproof. The electric equipment is located inside a body prepared to control the overpressure,
produced by an internal deflagration, in the case of a gas intake. Areas class 1 & 2.
EEx e EN 50019 Increased Safety. High security, in order to avoid high temperature and possible sparks during the
normal working. Areas class 1 & 2.
EEx I EN 50020 Intrinisic Safety. This kind of circuit has no possibility of producing sparks or high temperatures,
causing the ignition of an explosive mixture. Areas class 0, 1 & 2

Technical Data
Hazardous Atmosphere Classification
Class I: Inflammable gases or vapours.
Class II: Inflammable dusts.
Class III: Inflammable fibres and cloth.
Zone 0: Explosive gas atmosphere present continuously or for long periods (>1000hrs per year).
Zone 1: Periodical or occasional explosive gas atmosphere (>10hrs, <1000hrs per year).
Zone 2: Possible explosive gas atmosphere presence but always occasionally and short time periods.
