Demand for solid silicone sheeting continues to grow and is available in sizes ranging from 0.5mm thick to 12mm thick.
While most standard stocks are one metre wide, other special grades come in 305mm, 457mm o 610mm squares.
Colours
White, translucent and red oxide, other special colours come in 305mm, 457mm or 610mm squares.
Choices Customers have the choice of taking these materials in sheet, strip or cut gasket form.
Silfire Products
The Silfire product is a recently developed rubber material in
either EPDM or silicone. Silfire can be used in all application at
temperatures exceeding +300 Deg C and where a "Zero spread
of flame" is required thus averting disasters.
Approvals of Silfire
The Silfire has gained UL Approval by UL International in Holland and is recognised for use by Nokia and B & W in
their equipment.
Customers Specification
Customers requiring products made form this material are asked to send a drawing
and sample of the product required for a defined quotation.
