Elastoseal

Geomembrane

With its ability to withstand mechanical stresses in the form of pressure and movement, Elastoseal is able to provide unrivalled benefits as a Geomembrane that over the years will be exposed to settlements and movement in the ground. It is highly flexible and durable material that is resistant to most chemicals and impervious to moist conditions.

Unlike thermoplastics, Elastoseal Geomembranes have no yield point and are no subject to stress cracking, are chemically and thermally stable and are resistant to root penetration.

Sheets can be prefabricated up to 1500mē (limited by weight and handling ability) or made upon site using 'Thermobond' splicing technology, and comes with a full range of accessories for all connections, pipework and terminations.

Elastoseal Geomembranes are a good enviromental choice, they contain no enviromentally hazardous substances, and the leeching or emission of chemicals does not take place in its lifetime (expected lifetime 40 years). It can be incinerated (energy recycling), or reused.

Applications include:

  • Leachate reservoirs at municipal landfill sites.
  • Water reservoirs.
  • Groundwater protection.
  • Liquid manure containers for agriculture.
  • Lining of channels and ditches.
  • Covers for municipal landfill sites.
  • Closed storage of industrial waste.

Bonded Superseal EPDM is installed quickly and securely onto felt roofs, concrete roofs or tomber. There is no risk migration with the substrate or other building materials.
