DESCRIPTION
SBS is caused by several factors one of the most important is light glare from incorrect lighting. Fitting the "Safelite Lamps" and Luminaires will results in reduced employee sickness days, better working environment, increased production and better health to all employees.

Ronfell has developed the "Safelite Lamp" which is a technologically advanced optical diffused lamp having a special Spiro-Prismatic sleeve fitted over a full spectrum fluorescent lamp.This combination allows 96% of the light to be used but reduces to almost 1% the glare and ultra-violet light which causes SBS. The"Safelite"should be fitted in all areas but especially in offices and all other areas where reading and paperwork is being processed. Tests have revealed that in an office environment using the "Safelite" lamps and luminaires an increase in general health and well being of the employees has be found.

Brand leading lamps and specially extruded ultra-violet resisting ploycarbonates and electrical equipment.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Optically supercedes the UK CIBSE LG3 Cat 123 recommendations and European Council Directives on radiated light in offices. Safety instructions apply to all light sources.

TECHNICAL
Lamps with wide spectrum specifications are used as standard.
Operating voltage 230 volts or 110 volts available.
Frequency 50 or 60 Hz.
Plug optional on request for British 3 pin to USA 2 pin.

STANDARDS
Supercedes the UK CIBSE LG3 Cat 1,2,3 recommendations and European Council Directives on lighting criteria for offices. Also meets the requirements of impact tests IK7 EEC.

LIFE & AGEING
The Safelite light source has nominal life of 9,000 or 19,000 hours, before light source replacement.
